Glossary term: Web 2.0
A term that is used to describe a supposed second generation of Internet or web-based services. The goal of Web 2.0 is to enhance creativity, communications, secure information sharing, collaboration and functionality of the web.Generally, this term refers to social media or sites that allow users to collaborate and communicate, but also includes wikis and online communication tools.
